Who is Ethan?
Growing up playing basketball, baseball, and volleyball, sports was always a big part of my life. Like most athletes, I also dealt with injuries, some minor, some frustratingly persistent. One of the most impact was a period of severe low back pain that once made it difficult to even straighten my leg.
Physiotherapy helped me return to the sports and activities I loved. Experiencing both the frustration of being sidelined and the relief of getting back shaped my decision to pursue this career. I wanted to help others navigate that same journey back to the things that matter most to them.
I believe that exercise when done well and with purpose, is one of the most powerful tools for recovery and long-term health. My goal is not just to help you get out of pain, but to help you understand your body, trust your movement, and feel confident being active again.
My approach is centred on education, collaboration, and individualized care. I want every patient to leave not only feeling better, but knowing why they feel better, and how to keep progressing on their own. Whether your goal is returning to sport, staying active with less pain, or simply moving with more confidence, my mission is to support you every step of the way. Special Interests: When I’m not working, I’m probably playing some kind of sport—volleyball, basketball, baseball, golf, badminton…pretty much anything played on land (because I can’t swim).
As a physiotherapist, I believe in meeting people where they are and helping them get to where they want to be. I enjoy problem-solving injuries and helping people understand their bodies in a way that feels clear and empowering. Using a mix of manual therapy, targeted exercise programming, and practical education, I aim to build strategies that make sense for your lifestyle and support real, lasting progress. Whether you’re returning to a sport, recovering from a setback, or simply looking to move with more confidence, my goal is to help you get there at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll work toward getting you back to what you love and building habits that support your long-term wellbeing. I look forward to supporting you on that journey!
Ethan is an Australian-trained physiotherapist resident with a background as a registered kinesiologist and personal trainer, he brings a strong foundation in exercise-based rehabilitation and sport performance.
Having spent years both rehabbing injuries and training athletes, Ethan understands that recovery isn’t just about getting out of pain, it’s about building a body that’s resilient, confident, and capable. His approach is providing individualized education, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy to help patients return to doing what they love
