Isometric Banded Standing March

ISOMETRIC BANDED STANDING MARCH

The isometric banded standing march is an exercise used to strengthen the hip flexors. Start by looping a band around both of your feet as you stand. Proceed to lift one foot off of the ground and hold this position for 5-10 seconds. Lower the foot back down to a rested position and rest for an equal amount of seconds. Repeat as required.

  • hip flexors (iliopsoas)

    • psoas major

    • iliacus
