Dorsiflexion March

DORSIFLEXION MARCH

This is an ankle dorsiflexor strengthening exercise that is used in combination with hip flexor strengthening. Start by looping a band around both of your forefeet. Raise the hip into flexion while maintaining as much ankle dorsiflexion as possible. Bend the knee as needed to maintain a contraction through your shin muscles.

  • Ankle dorsiflexors

    • Tibialis Anterior

    • Extensor Digitorum Longus

    • Extensor Hallucis Longus

  • Hip Flexor

    • Iliopsoas
