HEEL TAPS

The heel taps exercise is used to train core stability. Start by lying down on your back on a padded surface and place both your hands on your belly to cue your core to brace. Raise both legs off of the floor while maintaining a neutral spine. Slowly lower one leg at a time until your heel touches the ground and alternate sides. Be sure to use your core to prevent extending or flexing through the spine during this exercise.
