WALL CRAWL

The wall crawl exercise is used to assist you in active shoulder flexion. Start by standing so that you are facing a wall at shoulder length’s distance. ‘Crawl’ your hand up the wall by having your arm climb up the wall using your hand and fingers. Continue to go as high as you can tolerate and repeat as needed. You may step in closer to the wall or lean forwards as your hand goes above shoulder height.

  • shoulder joint capsule (glenohumeral joint capsule)

  • anterior deltoids

Related conditions:

  • frozen shoulder

  • anterior deltoid strain

  • grade 1 AC joint sprain
