Banded Shoulder Distraction

BANDED SHOULDER DISTRACTION

This is an exercise used to stretch out the glenohumeral joint capsule. Loop a band around a stable object above you like a squat rack frame and loop the other end around your wrist. Lean back with the hips while relaxing all of the muscles of your shoulder. Appreciate the gapping of your shoulder joint and hold for 3-5 breaths.
