Lateral Isometric Jaw Opening

LATERAL ISOMETRIC JAW OPENING

This is a strengthening exercise for the jaw joint. Place your hand on the side of your face and press inwards to apply a lateral pressure on the jaw. Resist against this pressure to retain neutral alignment and slowly open the jaw without deviating to the side. Slowly close the jaw while maintaining alignment and repeat as required.
