Resisted Jaw Opening

RESISTED JAW OPENING

This is a strengthening exercise for the muscles of temporomandibular joint. Place your thumb just under your chin and press upwards as you open your mouth to create resistance. Continue to press upwards and slowly close your mouth while resisting the upwards pressure.
